Chauffeurs
CTI Transportation's success relies heavily upon the quality and service performance of the chauffeurs it permanently employs. They are the face and image of the company in the eyes of the client and the expectations placed upon them are extensive.
Chauffeurs are hired, trained and managed to provide the safest and most reliable and professional service to a variety of clients. Their consistent on time service rating of 99.7% and the personalized service they provide has continued to attract the attention of networks, corporations and affiliates worldwide.
All chauffeurs are required to be able to read, write and be professionally conversant in English. In addition, since CTI’s commitment to diversity is in our beliefs and in our actions, Spanish, Arabic and Turkish are languages also spoken by some CTI chauffeurs.
Hiring & Training
CTI Chauffeurs must pass thorough Federal and State background/criminal checks, DOT drug screens, DOT physicals, on road driving tests, have a clean driving history and obtain all required licensing before they are permitted to begin CTI’s training program. Only upon successful completion of this intensive 8 day classroom training are they permitted to drive clients. Curriculum for this training program includes:
Smith System Advance Driving, Map/Route Planning, Creating the Image, Industry practices, Safety/Vehicle Maintenance Inspections, Professionalism, Legal Issues and the CTI Employee Handbook.
Safety Preparedness
All chauffeurs complete detailed vehicle inspection reports prior to departing the facility. Included in the inspection report is a visual inspection of interior and exterior condition and equipment. Any safety, mechanical or operating issues noted are reported and the vehicle is immediately removed from available fleet until repaired.
Uniforms
CTI enforces a strict uniform policy for chauffeurs. The required uniform is a clean and pressed solid black business suit with a white dress shirt , black tie and black shoes.
Communications
Our dispatch center maintains contact with each chauffeur through the use of two-way radio and hand held PocketNet devices. Our vehicle GPS systems also allow our operations staff to obtain real time verification of each chauffeurs exact location and vehicle status.
