CTI Transportation, LLC's success relies heavily upon the quality of the chauffeurs it employs due to the fact that they are a reflection of the company's image and are in direct contact with the passengers. Therefore, we adhere to a high standard of hiring practices.

All CTI Transportation, LLC's chauffeurs must:

  • Pass a mandatory DOT physical and drug test prior to employment. We are the only limousine company in Houston that requires this strict compliance.
  • Be licensed by the City of Houston which also includes FBI and Texas criminal records checks.
  • Have a clear driving record for at least the last five years. Driving records are checked by our insurance company twice annually.
  • Possess an excellent knowledge of the City of Houston and the surrounding area.
  • Take the Smith System Defensive Driving Course upon employment and participate in annual refresher courses.
  • Take a road test annually to verify driving skills.
  • Attend monthly safety and staff meetings.
  • Be at least 25 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • Familiarize themselves with each vehicle in our fleet and have a complete knowledge of the operation and amenities of each.

We feel that our uniformed (black suit, white shirt, black tie and shoes), professional chauffeurs are our biggest asset. Consequently, CTI Transportation has developed a comprehensive Corporate Chauffeur Training Program. Major training modules consist of "Limousine Industry Practices", "Quality, Service and Customer Loyalty", "Chauffeur Professionalism", "Trip Mechanics", "Communication Skills", "Customer Service", "Documentation", "Map Skills and Route Planning", 2 days of on-the-road familiarization, "Legal Issues", "Drug and Alcohol Program" and a Smith System Advance Driving Course developed and administered by a certified instructor.

Our operations staff continually monitors both weather and traffic reports to ensure that our chauffeurs arrive 10-15 minutes early for all pickups. They also monitor all inbound commercial airline flights in order to alert a chauffeur to an early or late arrival.

*Unless the delay is due to a last minute call or caused by severe weather conditions.
